Janet and Kevin Donnelly
Kevin and Janet Donnelly started their journey at St. Juliana’s in 1992 as parishioners and have been faithful, active members since then. They sent their children, Elyse and Steven, through St. Juliana School, where they became very involved in both the school and church communities.
Kevin Donnelly intentionally lives his faith every day. He not only understands but also puts into practice the idea that serving others is one of the most meaningful ways to live out his faith. Kevin has prioritized serving St. Juliana’s community and is an honored member and treasurer of the Knights of Columbus. He has a kind heart and has always
made people feel included and comfortable. He is fair, honest, and someone you can always count on. Reliable is a perfect word to describe his character. He is devoted to his family and cares deeply about the people he loves. It is a blessing to have someone
in our community who has made a positive difference in the lives of those around him.
Janet Donnelly was a 5th-grade teacher who also taught 4th grade math at St. Juliana and went on to become an amazing Vice Principal who was loved by all. Her fun-loving personality brings the best and brightest energy to everyone she meets. In the school, she brought music, laughter, and of course dancing into our daily lives and brightened every day. You could always count on Janet to sing a tune when a lyric was said in everyday conversation.
Janet is welcoming to all. She greeted parents and students personally. She knew all their names and even what was going on in their lives. Janet is a trusted confidant who
recognized the strengths of her staff and supported their growth and endeavors. She always supported everyone.
Janet wore many hats, went to all the events, cheered and supported everyone. She quietly carried the weight of the school when things went awry, finding solutions to problems before anyone knew there was a problem. She always did so with a smile and credited everyone around her for their efforts.
Kevin and Janet lead by example and remind us that the little things we do for others can make a lasting difference. We are blessed to have the chance to recognize you both for everything you have done and every life you have touched in the St. Juliana’s Community. We truly appreciate all you have done.
